On the television series 3rd Rock From the Sun, John Lithgow, portraying Dr. Dick Solomon, an alien from another planet here to study earthlings, sees two humans hugging, he wants to cuddle as well, with Dr. Mary Albright, fellow professor at the local college and his human love interest. In their office he tells her this but she is not in the mood. The next moment her old boyfriend Jeff comes in and they just can't stop hugging each other, and Dick discovers jealousy.
Jeff gives Mary a thimble for her collection but she can’t read the inscription on it, Dick interprets the engraving to read, “May these always point me towards spoils of war.” This isn't a thimble. It's Turkish nipple armor. It's very valuable, especially if you have a pair.
