DOJO-Academy of Martial Arts is an internationally famous martial arts fraternity dedicated to the Fighting and Health Systems of Gung Fu, Tai Chi Chuan, Kempo, Hsing-i, Pa-Kua, Shaolin Temple Boxing, Shotokan, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Isshin-ryu, Shorinji, Gojo, Wado-ryu, Ninjitsu, Jui-Jitsu, Judo, Aikido, Wu Shu, Jeet Kune Do, and American Eclectic Karate.
American Home Guard members are also skilled and trained in the Art of Commando Warfare, Survival Skills and Anti-Terrorist Operations.
Our fellowship exists as a confederation of independent agents for the purpose of preserving, practicing, studying, and teaching the Martial Arts. To qualify for membership, an applicant must present previous certification of rank in recognized fighting system. Or, test in person before a panel of qualified DOJO Instructors for graduation. In the 21st century we have included videotesting as an alternative method. We welcome and salute all martial artists from all styles and systems and invite them to join us in the great work of sharing this knowledge with others.
If you have ever served in the U.S. Military and been trained in Hand-to-Hand Combat, you deserve a certificate that says so.
If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, you can become a member of his Baker Street Irregulars.
If you are trained in Basic Self-Defense or Women's Self-Defense, you can be certified as an Instructor. If you are not trained, we can train you.
If you are a student of an Eclectic, Street Fighting or Free Style Martial Art we will certify your style and rank.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Kuatsu is an Eastern resuscitation technique that was born from several martial arts, including judo, jiu-jitsu, karate, and kung-fu. Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. Qi Gong, Chi Kung, or Chi Gung ("life-energy cultivation") is a system of coordinated body-posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial-arts training. All of these systems have levels of skill and degrees of training, student, disciple or teacher. Be it Reiki Master, Judo Black Belt, Yoga Guru, or Qi Gong Sifu, and each level should be noted and acknowledged to demonstrate that the student is making steady progess.
This certification is issued under the auspices of the Ridge Tai Chi Association, Lake Wales FL and includes Yang, Chen, Sun and Wu styles of the Grand Ultimate Fist as well as many Kung Fu systems. Some teachers do not award certificates. But, if you have studied and trained diligently, there should be some recognition of your skills. Tai Chi does not offer rank, there are students, disciples and masters. It may take half a lifetime to master one system. And, there are landmarks and signposts along the way. One of these is certification.
To learn the intricacies of these weapons, the martial artist often includes training with them as part of his workout regimen. Nunchaka develop hand-and-eye coordination; Shuriken develop the art of throwing accurately; Swords develop focus and timing; just like hitting the heavy bag or stretching exercises or kata or kumite, ALL contribute details of movement and balance that can ONLY be learned with patience and practice. If you have a weapons specialty or award certificates to your students for weapons training or other special skills like tumbling, community service, or outstanding achievement, we have a certificate for you!
Masters of Freestyle Martial Arts was created to fill a need. There are many people who are self-taught, who are natural fighters, who have military or life experience that qualifies them to be martial artists. The only thing missing is recognition of their skills. So, if you have an effective fighting system developed through personal experience, you are, by definition, a Freestyle Martial Artist. All you require is certification and recognition of your art.
