Based on the Official Training Manual of the University of Gallifrey Self-Defence Course as developed for humans and taught by the third Doctor, this Certification conveys to the recipient all rights, privileges and responsibilities of a Disciple of the Venusian Fist!

Venusian Karate/Aikido as martial art was developed by nuns on Venus, which meant it worked best with five arms and five legs, with the Doctor musing that he was one of the few two-armed beings to become truly adept at this martial art.

It can be used to immobilise an opponent by using pressure points and tends to use the attacker's own movements against them. Venusian Karate influences the opponent's mind by making symbols or doing a certain action. In any old human martial arts, you will never know if your opponent will attack from the right or attack from the left. But in Venusian Karate, you actually make it so that your opponent will go left or right, depending on what you do.

These are by no means all of the techniques of Venusian Karate. This is merely a beginner’s course, limited to techniques that work for and on humans.
