And, like most frontiers, it is populated with indigenous species, who are not always friendly.

• Some are just evil-like the malevolent Sith Lords
• Some want to "test" mankind-like the Metrons or Q

Most of the battles between humans and these divergent species take place in outer space, using fleets of star ships armed with Phaser cannons, Photon torpedoes and Cloaking devices. But, from time to time, personal encounters do occur. When they do, it would be wise to have some training in hand-to-hand combat. Provided here are a variety of futuristic martial arts, each one special in its own way, from which to choose. Hand-to-hand combat, light saber duels, bat'leth battles, sonic screwdrivers. Even the logical and non-violent Vulcans have martial arts techniques from their past as part of their cultural heritage and are quite capable of defending themselves if need be.
