Hattori Hanzō, nicknamed Demon Hanzō, was a famous Ninja of the Sengoku era, who served the Tolugawa clan credited with saving the life of Tokugawa Ieyasu and then helping him to become the ruler of a united Japan. He is often a subject of varied portrayals in modern popular culture. Hanzō was known as an expert tactician and a master of sword fighting.
Sarutobi Sasuke is generally said to be a Koga Ninja. He was known for his monkey-like agility and quickness. Many depictions portray him as having been orphaned and raised by a band of monkeys, therefore giving rise to the monkey-like abilities. He has been described as a superhero Ninja, and caused a boom of Ninja in popular culture during the 1910s-1920s in Japan.
Fujita Seiko was the last known headmaster of the Koga-ryu (school of Koga) He died mysteriously in 1966 But, his teachings and legend live on in those of us, his loyal students, who carry on the traditions of the Silent Way under the banner of his House.
